Thank you!   Leave a comment

Tough loss for our Zags, but wanted to send a quick note of thanks to everyone for the unbelievable support of the House at the Arena on Saturday. No matter the capacity of your attendance (i.e. – fan, volunteer, worker, etc.), we can not thank you enough.

Sounds like the game has yet to be scheduled for next year, but we can promise it will be another great day. Until then, because of your support we’ll continue providing a “home away home” to families in desperate need.

Again, thank you!

Great tickets…   Leave a comment

…..still available for this Saturday’s 1p “RMHC Classic” featuring the Zags vs. U of Memphis Tigers at the Spokane Arena. (www.ticketswest.com).

A great win on Saturday for the Zags……as well as the Pilots of Portland. Great they took down St. Mary’s, but here’s to hoping they used up all of their “shots” and energy on the Gaels and will have an empty tank come Thursday. That said, I have a hard believing Coach Rev won’t have them ready to roll……and like every other road game for the Zags in conference play, the atmosphere will be crazy. With the Zags, it’s like the circus coming to town……EVERYONE puts on their face paint and comes out the game.

Get your tickets for Saturday……it’s your chance to see the Zags in person, all while supporting a cause that is imperative to the medical community (and families seeking treatments) in Spokane. Thank you!

Big one tonight!   Leave a comment

Maybe the biggest WCC game played in the “new” Kennel since it’s grand opening. Given the circumstances, league title ramifications, etc. can you name one bigger?

Here’s to the Zags winning by 9…….what are your thoughts? Go Zags!

Jimmer!   Leave a comment

Having fun watching this matchup between #4 SDSU and #9 BYU…..what a game! Watching Jimmer takes me back in time……not too far, just back to our days of watching Adam Mo in a Zag uni!

Shaping up to be a great year for both of these teams…..but, it would great to see a fantastic college player like Jimmer

finish his career on a high note and in style!

Oh yeah….big one in Zagville tomorrow too…..Go Zags!

The road ahead…   Leave a comment

…..for the Zags got a bit tougher with the loss to USF. That said, the Zags still control their own destiny in the WCC championship race.

I didn’t post yesterday about the USF game for one reason…..not wanting to come off as blaming the officials. But now that the outcome has had a day to sink in, I still can’t get over the way the refs took the game over. Combined with the fact that USF hit some big shots and it was too much for our Zags to overcome.

Onward………and a big game on Thursday back in the friendly confines of home. It’s a big one, for sure…..but, they all will be from here on out. No time for lapses…….let’s Go Zags!

On another note, regarding our Feb. 5th game at the Spokane Arena…great seats still available, get them by visiting any TicketsWest outlets or website (www.ticketswest.com).

Happy Monday!

Zags vs. USF and more!   Leave a comment

In some ways, this may be the biggest game of the year for our Zags. If we have any hopes of retaining our WCC season title crown, we’ll need to bounce back from the disappointment of Thursday nights setback to SCU. But let’s not panic……as Coach Few pointed out, the Zags have lost and been pushed in this league before, survived it, and come out of league play as CHAMPS!

USF is athletic and physical. With their win over UP on Thursday, they moved to 3-1 in WCC play and turned today’s matchup with the Zags into a battle for 2nd place.

In spite of SMC 89-70 setback to Vanderbilt today, they will come in rolling for Thursday night HUGE matchup in Zagville. That said, unless something crazy happens, I don’t see SMC ending with more than 2 losses in WCC play. Therefore, back to my original point about the magnitude of today’s Zag game……it is absolutely necessary that the Zags return from the Bay Area with a split and 4-1 record in league (one game back of SMC).

Head up, keepin’ the faith, let’s do this…..as always, Go Zags!

Remembering a true legend today, thank you to Dr. King for all he did to help mankind, me, and you.

Not sure one could ever expect to have an impact of his magnitude, but he definitely left the world a better place and provides an example for us all. Thank you, Dr. King, for your fight and struggles…..we are forever indebted to you and, hopefully, carry your lessons with us daily!
